And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any….(Mark 11:25)

The condition of your heart when you pray is very important. If you carry grudge, unforgiveness or hate in your heart for anyone; your faith will be made of non effect.

Jesus said, “And when ye stand praying, forgive…” (Mark 11:25); why? It’s because when you stand to pray, it’s often a prayer of faith that proceeds from your mouth; you start making decrees! However, the Master was quick to caution that you don’t harbour unforgiveness against anyone; you must walk in love, so your prayer will be effective. He wants your prayer life to be effective.

God wants us to continue in prayer effectively. We are the restraining force to all the schemes of the evil one. We must pray effectively until the rapture of the Church, it’s part of our priestly ministry as believers. Therefore, make sure you give no place to unforgiveness in your heart as you pray. Keep yourself free of all grudges at all times. Remember, that in Christ you have been made higher and above these earthly emotions.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me your love in my heart. I live a higher life in Christ, and consciously give no place to grudge in my heart. I forgive people and walk in love as I pray for this world. I’m an agent of salvation in this world. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
