And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Helper, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever (John 14:16 AMP)
Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He is God in us. He is our ever-present help (ref. Psalm 46:1). He is the doer of God head and He guides us to the will of God in our life. As a Christian, your life has been predetermined and prearranged by God. Yours is to follow the guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was the Helper when He walked the earth. And in our main verse we see how the Holy Spirit has been sent by God to be in us as our helper. Your Helper—the Holy Spirit—is in you now. As you maintain a rich fellowship with the Holy Spirit, He’ll guide your steps, and help you fulfill your destiny in Christ.
A Christian who is aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit in his life will never find himself helpless. Those who don’t take advantage of the fellowship with the Holy Spirit are the ones who suffer in life. Choose not to be that one.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for choosing me out of this world. Thank you for giving me the Holy Spirit as my ever-present help. As I have a rich fellowship with Holy Spirit, I walk unhindered on the paths preordained by you for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
