Being born, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever (1 Peter 1:23)
A seed carries the life, essence and the nature of the plant and fruit which it will grow and become. Our main verse says that you are born of the incorruptible seed, which means that the life, essence and nature you carry, being in Christ, is incorruptible.
When you are born again, you’re born of God’s incorruptible seed, which is His word. This is what makes you indestructible. The life in you is sickness, disease and death resistant. You have the very life of God, and that makes you supernatural. The same life that makes God who He is, now flows in your spirit soul and body. Your life is no longer dependent on the blood that flows through your physical body.
The blood of man is the life of his flesh (Leviticus 17:11). But when you become a child of God by being born again you become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17); your blood ceases to be what sustains your life.
No wonder the bible says,”…as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God”(John 1:12-13). You’re born of God, you have the life of God in you. Therefore you cannot fail, you cannot be poor and you cannot be destroyed. The life in you is sickness, disease or infirmity- proof. Hallelujah!
Confession:
I am born of the incorruptible seed of God therefore, sickness, disease, lack and death can’t find place in my life. I have the life of God in me making me supernatural, invincible and disease-proof, in Jesus Name. Amen!
