Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (1 Timothy 6:7)

For the world, increasing capacity means to acquire wealth and stock it up. However, the Bible makes it clear that the wealth of this earth is uncertain. For us, the children of God, the only way to increase capacity is to consistently increase in our walk with God.

Every seed comes with its capacity to produce fruits. A rice seed will not produce a papaya. You are born of incorruptible seed, the seed of God’s Word. Your capacity is defined by the power of God. The more you walk with God, the more you increase in your capacity to be fruitful and productive.

How do you walk with God then? Firstly by having a deep fellowship with God, your Father. Then is giving priority to the House of God, in all that you do and have. Next is that, you must give definite and unaltered time to the Word of God, meditating on it daily. The Word has the capacity to make you what it talks about. You must never compromise with your Word study time. Increase in your love for Lord. Spend time in worshipping His majesty and glory, giving thanks to Him with all your heart and being. As you do this you will see a change in you and your capacity that is beyond any reasoning or definition.

Everything you do to increase in your hunger for God and His righteousness, is what increases your capacity. Thus, it’s important to constantly have a hunger to increase your capacity as a Christian. Congratulations as you have studied today’s article you have already increased your capacity! As you continue to act on the Word you have learnt, you will have abundant fruits of righteousness in your life.
