Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
(Matthew 24:35)
It is impossible for God’s Word to pass away because His Word is He Himself! The very reason we, as children of God, cannot fail is that we are born of God’s Word — which never passes away nor fails. We are born of God’s Word, and it is essential for all of us to feed our spirits with the Word continually so that we are able to sustain our spiritual lives.
The Bible says, “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword…” (Hebrews 4:12). This means His Word penetrates every situation, dividing soul and spirit, discerning thoughts and intentions — it works deep within you!
When you fill your spirit with God’s Word concerning your body, your body doesn’t fail! When the Word of God is in you regarding your business, it can never go bad. When His Word is bubbling in your spirit, it makes you indestructible, giving you the very nature of God! The Word never returns empty. As the Lord declares in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” This means whatever the Word says about you will surely come to pass.
Your peace never comes to an end, your joy never runs out, and you are always in charge of every situation — because it’s God’s Word dwelling in you! That’s what it means to have the very life of God in yourself.
You all are gods and children of the Most High. There can’t be anything better than that! Stand strong to live the life that God has put in front of you. Continually give yourself to the authority of God’s Word by receiving His Word in you, adding faith to the Word, and allowing the Word to direct your thoughts and every action.
Prayer
Blessed heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that You have given to me. As I fill my spirit with Your Word, I do not fail; I’m at peace all the time. I give myself and all my situations to the authority of the Word of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
