We have been learning for the past few days that our words are very important. How we speak and what we speak determines the course of our lives. Thus, we must never waste our words by indulging in useless and pointless arguments and discussions.
Today’s world system is constantly trying to instigate a need to give an opinion in the minds of people. Everybody feels the need to give an opinion or involve themselves in a debate over every matter under the sun. That’s a foolish trend — and you aren’t foolish. You are a child of the Most High; you operate in wisdom from above. Never feel pressured by this world to become one like them and waste your words in pointless debates.
If you see that the things happening in and around you, and also in the world at large, are not consistent with the will of God, you must pray! Pray and change the course of things. Make them fall in line with the plan and purpose of God through the gift of prophecy. Don’t just participate in discussions, wasting your time and valuable words convincing others. Instead, decree like a king and make transformations happen for yourself and for others. Remember: “Where the word of a king is, there is power…” (Ecclesiastes 8:4).
Use your words wisely and purposefully. Let your speech align with God’s will, bringing change and edification wherever you go. Speak life, speak faith, and speak the Word of God powerfully.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank You for the gift of Your Word. I fill myself with Your Word and make a huge impact in my world by decreeing Your Word. I avoid pointless discussions and refuse to waste my words. I’m mindful that I’m a king and my words have power. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
