For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth (Romans 1:16)

It is vital that we take pride in identifying ourselves with our Lord Jesus Christ. As children of God, we carry a truth that the world does not know—the gospel of Christ. The word gospel means “good news,” and it is far more than just a message to be preached; it is the living power of God that brings salvation, transformation, and eternal life.

When Paul declared that he was not ashamed of the gospel, he was expressing unshakable confidence in both the message and the One it represents. To be unashamed means to publicly acknowledge Jesus, to give glory to God in all circumstances, and to openly live in alignment with His Word.

This also includes honoring and valuing the vessels God has placed in your life—your pastors, leaders, and mentors—who labor for your spiritual maturity. Refuse to hide your faith or keep it in the background. Let your life, your words, and your decisions boldly proclaim that you belong to Jesus.

When you embrace the gospel without shame, you position yourself to experience and demonstrate the power of God to those around you.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank You for the gospel of Christ, which is Your power for salvation. I am proud to be identified with my Lord Jesus, and I boldly proclaim His name. I choose to live openly for You, to glorify You in all I do, and to acknowledge those You have placed in my life to help me grow. I will never be ashamed of my faith, for I know it is the truth that sets people free. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
