And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32)
In Christ, we are born of the Word of God, and that Word is the nourishment of our spirit and the source of our life. Just as food and water sustain the physical body, the Word sustains and strengthens our spiritual being. Without it, we cannot grow, flourish, or fulfill our calling.
The Word of God is not just a tool for study—it is our lifeline. It builds us up, keeps us aligned with God’s plan, and equips us to walk in the inheritance we have received in Christ. Jesus declared that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. This shows us that true life is found in constant fellowship with His Word.
Spiritual health is maintained by making the Word central in your daily life—not only in reading or meditating but in allowing it to shape your thoughts, decisions, and actions. As you keep the Word before you, it will direct your steps, strengthen your faith, and release divine wisdom in every situation.
Prayer:
Father, I thank You for the Word of Your grace which builds me up and establishes me in my inheritance in Christ. I choose to make Your Word my daily nourishment, my meditation, and my guide. As I keep the Word alive in my heart, I grow strong in faith, walk in Your wisdom, and fulfill the life You have ordained for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
