This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8).
The secret of success is not just in reading or hearing the Word of God but in meditating on it until it becomes your consciousness. Meditation is more than mental reflection; it is the spiritual process of soaking your mind and spirit in the Word until you see, talk, and act according to it.
When you meditate, you give the Word a chance to sink deep into your spirit and take root. Meditation turns knowledge into revelation. You may read that you are more than a conqueror, but until you meditate on it, you may still feel defeated. Through meditation, the truth of God’s Word becomes alive in you and redefines your identity.
Meditation involves muttering the Word under your breath, declaring it aloud, picturing it in your imagination, and allowing it to guide your thoughts. As you do this, the Word becomes part of you. The Holy Spirit then brings fresh light, and your faith rises to a higher level.
Notice what God told Joshua: prosperity and success would not come just by knowing the law but by meditating and doing it. Your success is tied to your meditation life. If you want to rise higher, you must discipline yourself to spend time every day meditating on the Word.
Remember, the discipline of meditation is the bridge between the written Word and the manifested Word. Through it, you build the inner strength to do the Word and see results.
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for teaching me the power of meditation. As I meditate on Your Word day and night, I align my thoughts, words, and actions with Your truth. I walk in prosperity, victory, and good success. My life is a reflection of Your Word, and through meditation, I’m continually transformed from glory to glory. Amen.
