The Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the works. (John 14:10)
Christmas declares an overwhelming truth — God became a Man so that God could live in man. Jesus was called the Child of the Holy Ghost because the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary. And today, every born-again believer who has received the Holy Spirit can boldly declare: “My Father that dwells in me….” That is the miracle of Christianity — not a religion, but God literally taking residence in His children.
The new creation began when the Holy Spirit came. The disciples were already called by Christ, but their real ministry began only after the Pentecost when the Spirit filled them. Likewise, we are not called to live ordinary lives — the power that raised Jesus is the power that now works in us.
This Christmas, God does not want you to worship Him as a distant Being. He wants you to recognise His presence inside you. You are not weak, helpless or alone — Christ in you is the hope of glory. No threat, no darkness, no fear and no demon can stand before the Name of Lord Jesus that lives inside you. Rejoice and celebrate this truth everyday in your life, not just during this season but everyday of the year.
Confession:
Precious Father, thank You for living in me. Thank You that you dwell in me by the Holy Spirit. I refuse fear, weakness and limitation. Your mighty presence inside me is seen in my thoughts, words and life. I live boldly because Christ is in me. Amen.
