If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
(John 15:7)

Desire is the birthplace of faith. What you truly want becomes the direction your faith travels. But desire must be shaped by abiding in Christ and letting His Word dwell richly in you. Many people never receive because their desires are carnal, shallow, or moment-driven. When the Word forms your desires, you begin to ask boldly, confidently, and in alignment with God’s purpose.

Some believers only apply faith when they are cornered by circumstances. When pressure comes, they suddenly activate spiritual principles, and God helps them. But their desire ends the moment the emergency ends. Faith is not meant to be crisis-based; it is meant to be living, growing, and continuous.

God wants His children to desire with understanding. He wants you to know what you truly want and ask with conviction. Unclear desires lead to unclear prayers, and unclear prayers lead to no results. When your desires are born of the Word, they move you toward God’s best.

The more you abide in Christ, the clearer your desires become. You stop guessing and start knowing. And once desire is aligned with the Word, as our Lord Jesus said, “It shall be done unto you.”

Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for teaching me to desire according to Your Word. Thank you for purifying every longing of my heart, aligning my desires with Your will, and helping me ask boldly in faith. I receive clarity, direction, and manifestation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
