When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. (1 Corinthians 13:11)

As a child of God, your language and choice of words must always be Godly. You can’t derive your language from this world. Divinity, wisdom and faith should ooze out of your mouth every time you speak.

Your words have the ability to create what it talks about. God creates with words. He spoke creation into being in Genesis 1. Therefore, having made us in His image and in His likeness, we create with words just like Him. When you understand this, you’ll never speak empty, inoperative words. You’ll use words correctly. You’ll only speak words of blessings, words of life, words that build and lift others; words that inspire faith, hope, and love in others.

Stick to your divinity and don’t indulge in the kind of words and speech the world considers trendy and modern, which is totally against the Word of God. You are divine, your speech must be divine too. Remember the warning of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 12:36-37: “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

Prayer:
Precious Father, I thank you for giving me the wisdom to speak right. I talk spiritual. I speak words filled with faith, love and grace at all times. I refuse to observe the ways of this world but instead I hold on to the Word of God, now and forever, in Jesus Name. Amen!
