Take heed therefore how ye hear…(Luke 8:18)
Your life will always move in the direction of the voice you follow. Many believers hear the Word of God but neutralize its power by listening to conflicting voices. The result is instability—faith rises momentarily, then collapses under pressure.
Informations you allow into yourself shapes your life. What you consistently hear becomes what you believe, and what you believe becomes how you live. This is why year after year, some people experience the same struggles—nothing changes because the source of their thinking has not changed.
God does not send you to many voices, thus it’s important that you stick to the voice of the shepherd God chose for you. Scripture teaches us that while there may be many teachers, spiritual growth requires divine order and clarity(ref. 1 Corinthians 4:15). Listening without discernment leads to confusion, not balance.
This year, decide to protect your hearing. Let the Word of God shape your convictions, your decisions, and your expectations. Remember, stability is a product of consistency in truth.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank You for Your Word that brings clarity and direction to my life. I choose to guard what I hear and to follow the voice of truth, through my shepherd. I refuse confusion and instability. My life is aligned with Your Word, and I walk in divine consistency, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
