Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13)
The divine life, which is the life of God, is present in you as a Christian. It’s not a thing you have to seek or pray for, it is your present hour reality. No wonder Peter calls us “Associates of the God-kind”; partakers of the divine nature (ref. 2 Peter 1:4). You are full of God.
When Peter said we’re associates of the God-kind; it’s not something we
“became”; we were born that way. You were born with the life and nature of God when you were born again. This is the reason it’s easy for you to please God; you don’t have to struggle, because His life is in you.
You have already passed the corruption of this world, by the virtue of the divine nature in you. No sickness, disease, failure or poverty can have its place in your life. That’s your truth. However, you must learn through Word of God, to live this divine life.
When a child is born and he can’t walk or talk yet, you don’t say,
“This child isn’t a human”. Rather, you start training the child how to walk and talk. It’s the same with the the divine life you have. What you have to do is study the Word of God and learn to live the divine life; live the authentic Christian life!
Think upon these things, and study the Word. The Word is your mirror, and as you behold that mirror you will see your perfect divine image in Christ Jesus (ref. 2 Corinthians 3:18).
Prayer:
Precious Heavenly Father, I thank you for your great love. Thank you for making me a partaker of your divine nature. I walk conscious of my divine nature today and always. I reign in life over Satan and his cohorts of darkness, in Jesus Name. Amen.
