I am the vine, ye are the branches (John 15:5a)
Being born again, you are a physical extension of Jesus Christ here on earth. You are therefore an extender and dispenser of divine life for others, just like Jesus Christ, our Lord. Bible therefore, declares in 1 John 4:17 that; “ …..as he is, so are we in this world”.
It’s important that you understand the seriousness of your calling as an extender and dispenser of divinity. The Bible says Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27); that means there’s hope for the world because of you. Even if you were the only Christian in your city, because of you, there’s hope for that city, for you can dispense divine life to everyone and everything in there.
Remember, when you were born again, right then, you received eternal life and became a dispenser divinity, you don’t have to add anything to it. The life of God in your spirit has made you a life-giving spirit. See yourself in this light; see yourself as a man of blessing and go ahead and bless your world! Those you bless are blessed, and those whose sins you forgive are forgiven. Also, you can give life to any dead or hopeless situation through the power of God’s Spirit that lives in you: “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (Romans 8:11)
