For the love of money is the root of all evil. (1 Timothy 6:10)
Money is not just financial entity, it has spiritual aspect to it. When God made Adam, there was no system of lack. Everything he needed was already provided. Money entered later as part of a fallen system where resources became limited.
Money represents power. It represents access. It represents influence. And that’s why it must be understood spiritually. If you don’t teach yourself about money from God’s perspective, the world will teach you fear, pressure, and scarcity instead.
Have you noticed how people constantly talk about not having enough? Money has become an evangelist of lack. It preaches limitation daily. But as God’s children, we cannot let our hearts be trained by a broken system. Jesus said where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21). What you value reveals who influences you.
Money is not evil. It is a tool. And in your hands, it must serve God’s purpose—not define your identity. You are not sustained by money. You are sustained by God. And when that settles in your spirit, money loses its power to intimidate you.
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you for teaching me to see money spiritually. It will never control my heart or define my confidence. You are my source, and I trust Your provision over the system of this world. I love you always the most and you alone are my trust, In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
