But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. (John 4:23)
Worship is not all about music, and tunes, or show of the singing talent. Often times, people who compose Christian songs, are considered to be worshippers; there are many who sure are, but there are many who aren’t worshippers at all.
Song creation is a talent, while worship is a service and ministry. A singer who sings worship songs beautifully or plays great instruments during worship, may not necessarily be spending time in fellowship with God. Someone who doesn’t know God, can never truly worship Him and His majesty. It’s not the movement of your lips on music that pleases God, but the move in your heart when you utter words of praise and worship unto Him, that pleases God.
If you are someone who creates worship music, with your God given talent; then God is talking to you today through this article. Don’t just spend time practising musical instruments, spend time fellowshipping with God. Spend time to praise Him in your personal space. When you are on stage, you are ingniting others to praise God; but your personal time with God is what will fulfill your service unto Him, as a worshipper. Seek to be a true worshipper of our Father God, not just a worship artist.

Heavenly Father I thank you, for teaching me the essence of true worship through your Word. I give complete attention to my fellowship with you. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, and glory forever, in Jesus Name. Amen!
