I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13)
A question you must ask yourself as a child of God is this: do you finish what you start? Or are you constantly beginning new things without completing the old ones? Starting is exciting, but finishing requires determination and perseverance. As a Christian, you must always finish what you start, and you must finish strong, because through His Spirit He has enabled you for it.
Success is measured in stages. What matters is that you do your best at each level and then move forward. Don’t compare your journey. Don’t delay because of fear. Review where you are honestly and decide that there will be definite progress every day going forward.
Remember, you are sufficient—not because of your own strength, but because of Christ’s sufficiency. In Him, you are equipped for every task. The question is not whether you are capable; the question is whether you are determined and committed.
So be motivated by the joy of an excellent finish. Choose to win. Choose to succeed. Stay disciplined. Stay focused. Move forward with the confidence that Christ strengthens you and that nothing shall be impossible for you.
Prayer:
Precious Father, thank You that I am sufficient in Christ. I choose to be determined to finish strong. I reject procrastination and distraction; instead, I embrace discipline and focus. I move upward and forward in my life now and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
