Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
Every month in our ministry we have a special day of prayer, when we come together just to pray. Today is one such day in our ministry. Prayer Day is not just another gathering—it is an opportunity. It is a divine platform given to you to address situations in your personal life and bring about real change. The question is: what do you want to see changed? And more importantly, are you hungry enough to see those changes happen?
We are not called to come before God passively. The Bible says we come boldly to obtain grace. To obtain means to take—to lay hold of what has already been made available. This is not a time to be casual or indifferent. Your attitude determines your outcome. A casual approach will produce casual results, but a serious, focused approach will produce undeniable results.
Think about the woman who touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. Many people were around Him, but only one received power because she came with intention and expectation. In the same way, Prayer Day is your moment to reach out in faith, to take hold of what belongs to you, and to strengthen your faith, even in areas where it may feel weak.
So begin to prepare your heart. Come with expectation. Take full advantage of this opportunity. And don’t keep it to yourself—tell others, invite those you have reached, and bring them into this moment. This is your time to take, to receive, and to see real change.
Prayer:
Precious Father, thank You for the opportunity of Prayer Day. I come boldly before You, and lay hold of Your grace. I refuse to be casual; I come with faith, expectation, and hunger. I receive answers, strength, and transformation in every area of my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
