I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service (Romans 12:1).
What a great privilege God has given to us. The privilege to give ourselves to Him, and to serve Him by becoming a living sacrifice!
To be a Living sacrifice, means even though you are alive and in full consciousness of yourself, you allow God to use you, to use your body, to use your mouth to use your hands. It means you go where He tells you to go, you speak what He tells you to speak. He uses you fully and makes you an agent of His goodness! Your life becomes a series of miracles and even you become a reason of miracles in the lives of many.
The day you give yourself to be used by Him, He makes you unstoppable, unbeatable and unlimited source of blessings and goodness of God.
It’s an animal life to just live your life your way, in an empty, purposeless manner. The life which God has called us into is a higher life, where we live our life in the plan and will of the one who made us, our Father! Remember, He made you and loves you the most, your life can never be more beautiful than what He can make it.
Prayer:
Thank you Father, for consecrating me unto yourself. I’m living sacrifice, all that matters to me is the Lord’s command. I’m living for my Jesus, nothing else I’d rather do, He is my ruler, my master, my owner my all. He bought me with His blood and own me now! Glory be unto His Name forevermore!
