God has given us the gift of prophecy. While certain dimensions of this gift function through prophets, every believer has been empowered to speak forth God’s Word and declare His promises over their lives. This means you have been given the authority to use your words to shape your future. Your responsibility is to speak in alignment with what God has already said.

Prophecy has always been God’s way of revealing His plans. It was through prophecy that people recognized the coming of the Messiah. God desires that you prophesy because through it, you set the direction of your life. As 1 Corinthians 14:1 says, “Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.” When you engage in prophecy, you position yourself to walk in continuous victory and dominion.
So begin today—speak over your life. Declare peace, prosperity, and progress over your nation and the nations of the world. Prophesy concerning your health, your success, your finances, your career, your studies—every area of your life. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Start now and watch your words create the future God has prepared for you.
