And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. (2 Corinthians 5:15)
There is a powerful shift that happens when you stop living for yourself and start living to please the Lord. Many people think Christianity is just about attending church or doing certain activities, but it is much deeper than that. Your life is not your own—you belong to Him, and your life is meant to reflect Him.
Sometimes, people separate their spiritual life from their daily life. They think they will serve God fully “later” when things are settled. But that’s a deception. The truth is, your life begins to gain meaning and progress when God becomes your priority—your time, your decisions, your resources, everything aligned with Him.
You may say, “I am a success,” but what defines success for you? If your thinking is still shaped by the world, your words won’t produce results. True success is living a life that pleases Him and advances His purpose. That’s where real promotion comes from.
So make a decision today—live to please the Master. Let your choices reflect Him. When your life is aligned with His will, everything else begins to come alive and move forward. Glory!
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for giving me a life that belongs to You. I choose to live to please You in all that I do. My time, my efforts, and my resources are aligned with Your will, and my life brings glory to You, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
