If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. (John 15:18-20)
Jesus made it clear that He has separated us from the cruel evil world. We are now the citizens of heaven and we are no longer subject to the evil, corruption, and darkness of this world. The world means the system which the devil has created on this earth. The system of sickness, poverty, debt, chaos, hatred, jealousy, deceptions, and sins are all part of this world. We are no longer slaves to the system of the world.
When Jesus rose from the dead, he rose to defeat the power of the devil and gave us victory. Now, this doesn’t mean that the devil will congratulate you and accept his defeat against you; rather he will try his best to attack you and keep you in his bondage. The Bible records, how satan went to Jesus and tried to tempt Him multiple times. And every time Jesus responded by speaking God’s Word and made the devil flee. Satan cannot stand God’s word and that shows us what we can do as believers against the devil.
We don’t need to fight the devil with our abilities, rather God expects us to keep His word in our Spirit, in our hearts, and in our lips.
There are many problems or challenges which you might be facing today. Some may have to do with this physical earth and some may have to do with the devil. For example, if you have tried every possible way to get a solution, and have still not gotten it, most probably there is a demon responsible for that issue. The Bible teaches us to cast out the devil. Casting out the devil is only possible if you have His word in you. And even if there is no devil behind your problem, you can tame the situation by God’s word as well.
It is so important that, as a Christian, you are deeply founded on God’s Word and continue to walk in Faith through His word, living victoriously every day, taking control over your aion, and radiating His light in your sphere.
Prayer
Thank you Father for your infallible Word. Your word gives me direction, life, and the power to dictate my circumstances. With your Word, I prevail over every demon of darkness. Thank you for your love and for raising me every day in your Word. I pray this in Jesus’s name, Amen.
