Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. (Psalms 25:21)

As a Christian, you are the face of the Gospel to your world. Your life, your ways, and your character, is an express image of your Father. Thus, your character matters a lot.

For a lot of Christians; who haven’t chosen to mature in their walk of faith; righteousness and grace is an excuse to continue in their old ways and character. In 1 John 2:1-2, we see that Apostle John says: “My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.” He refers, to people who need teaching about sin as, “little children”, not because of their age but because of their mindset. They haven’t matured and taken the character of Christ unto themselves, and thus have to be taught about dealing with sin. Let it not be your case.

Walk with the Lord, following His Word and you will be full of the Spirit. You and the others in your world, will then witness the fruits of the Spirit in your character; “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23).

Let your life be full of the character, which is perfect demonstration of Christ in you.

Prayer:
Precious Father, thank you for guiding me through your Word to live my life embibing the character of Christ. I’m full of the Spirit and I have the fruits of the Spirit in my life. Everyone who sees me, meets me or knows me, sees the glory of God in me, in Jesus precious Name. Amen
