These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. ( John 16:33)
The world and its elements are not a factor for a Christian. A Christian is born again into the kingdom of God. The moment you came in Christ, you were brought out of the world. To put your trust in the world now, will mean, you are living an empty life.
Don’t put your trust in the failing systems of this world. Don’t put your hopes in any government or the society or some authority or some institution of any sort. The Bible says, “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes” (Psalms 118:9). The elements of world are doomed for failure; so, don’t live your life relying on systems and structures created by man for your success and prosperity. Your success in life is determined by your walk with the Lord.
This walk causes you to float while others, in the world around you, sink. Even if there is crisis in the world around you, you remain soaring above it, because Christ in you is the hope of glory (ref. Colossians 1:27). Job 22:29 says: “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.”
Prayer:
Precious Father, thank you for choosing me out of this world and making me an inheritor of your kingdom. I remain conscious of my glorious life in Christ and don’t put my hope in the system of this world, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen!
