The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple (Psalm 119:130).
We learnt yesterday that affirmation of God’s Word is a very important faith action. But, it’s very important to understand that for one to affirm the Word, one needs to know and understand the Word.
When you apply your faith regarding a matter, it’s imperative for you to dig the Word of God deep to find out God’s Word regarding it. Our main verse explains us why it’s important to get into the Word of God. For your faith to work you must get the light of God’s Word and divine understanding from above, to get truth about your situation. That truth will transform your mind and thus affect your speech.
As your Spirit digests the Word, it affects your way of thinking and gives you a new mindset, this in turn will cause you to make right confessions, unto victory. Therefore, dig deep into the Word, and act on your faith.

Precious Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of your Word. My faith is active producing results unto God’s glory as I’m rooted in God’s Word, in Jesus Name. Amen!
