God’s Voice and your obedience

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee (Genesis 12:1)

When God’s voice comes to you, it’s not always holding a command or direction that is easy to execute. Often times, it is tough and full of challenges however, it always ends in great victory and peace. Thus, the magnitude of your obedience to God’s voice determines the dimension of your victory in life.

When God called Abraham to leave his father’s house, and go to the land God will show him, Abraham obeyed. Hebrews 11:8 tells us that “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out…” Abraham obeyed God and inherited the promise! It’s due to Abraham’s obedience that we today are inheritors of the same promise in Christ Jesus: “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise”(Galatians 3:29).

No matter how difficult God’s command to you may seem; follow it with all your heart and without any prejudice; knowing that it is God who is your maker and builder. He has never failed anyone who has put their trust in Him, and He will not fail you. Learn to walk in obedience to His voice.

Dear Father, I thank you for your love and grace in my life. I’m confident that your voice comes with best direction for my life, and I follow it with all obedience and submission. I trust you with all my life my precious Father. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
