Many Christians think that service in the House of God is only for a few. However, the truth is that every Christian is called into service.

God has written His plans and His commissions concerning you, yours is to live up to them. That it the essence of true service. You must look for opportunities in the Church, to be at service, and not just be someone who is served. If you are always required to be served to, then you are a consumer and haven’t become a giver. Don’t be that way, that’s not the higher life.

As a Christian, every opportunity of service that God gives to you is important, and it means a lot in the Kingdom. You should realise that each one of us is going to give an account to God for the life we lived and for all He asked us to do. 2 Corinthians 5:10, says: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

If you don’t have a heart of service, you are not truly a follower of Christ.
Nothing on earth compares with serving the Lord and living for Him. Nothing could be better for time and eternity than to live for Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15 says: “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead. And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”

Next time you are in your Church, ask your leaders and Pastor, how you can serve, and serve better in the House of God. Open yourself to learning more and, hence, doing more for the kingdom. You are responsible for this Gospel.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege you have given me to serve you. I’m always eager to serve in the house of God. I make the best of every opportunity of service by demonstrating excellence vested in me through the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Happy Resurrection Day to all of you! This day is so special, Jesus defeated death, and He became the first man to be born again. (Revelation 1:5). Our life in Christ Jesus doesn’t start from the birth of Jesus Christ, neither does it begin with his death on the cross. Christianity begins with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. When He rose, we rose together with Him. Easter is not just about celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, but it is also the celebration of the victory which the mankind got over the death and over slavery of darkness and circumstances. Furthermore, it is the celebration of the God-life which was made available to mankind so that they may no longer be the mankind rather the God-kind.

Easter is the fulfillment of God’s love towards man, and in this day, the message which the Spirit of God has for us is from 2 Corinthians 5:14-15: For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Jesus loved us so much that He freely died on our behalf so that when we live, we should no longer live for ourselves but for Jesus who loves us and died for us. When you visit your friends and relatives with sweets and gifts for wishing them today, the better way is to bring to them the true knowledge, essence and right message of resurrection.

Praise:
Father, I praise you for the Easter of my life. I thank you that you raised me together with Christ and today I am seated together with Him. I have a meaning and a purpose for my life. The life which I now live on earth is for you and unto your glory! Glory to your name, O most High!

The world and its elements are void of love. The only true love is the love with which God loved us in Jesus Christ. Our main verse is very profound. It teaches us why our life should be all about loving and living for our Master Jesus. Our love for Master Jesus, is the one element of our Christian walk which should overpower every other thing.

Anyone who doesn’t love Jesus doesn’t know Him. If they ever get to know who He is, they’ll most certainly fall in love with Him. The more you know Jesus, the more you love Him!

It matters that you grow in your love for our Lord Jesus Christ. You should love Him more today, that you did yesterday. If that is not the case then there’s something wrong. You aren’t moving ahead in your walk of faith. The more you study the Word, the more you know Him and the more you love Him.

Soak yourself in His love and, and live each day to love Him more. If that is your aim, you will for sure walk in the perfect will of God, basking in His glory. It will be impossible for you to loose direction in life, because your love for Jesus will make all things work together for your good (ref. Romans 8:28). Your life will then be an endless stream of joy, peace and supernatural. Remember, life on earth is nothing except we live it for Jesus.

Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you for your liquid love towards me. I live my life to love Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for me. I’m rooted and grounded in your love, and I manifest and radiate your love to my world today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
