And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. (2 Corinthians 5:15)

There is a powerful shift that happens when you stop living for yourself and start living to please the Lord. Many people think Christianity is just about attending church or doing certain activities, but it is much deeper than that. Your life is not your own—you belong to Him, and your life is meant to reflect Him.

Sometimes, people separate their spiritual life from their daily life. They think they will serve God fully “later” when things are settled. But that’s a deception. The truth is, your life begins to gain meaning and progress when God becomes your priority—your time, your decisions, your resources, everything aligned with Him.

You may say, “I am a success,” but what defines success for you? If your thinking is still shaped by the world, your words won’t produce results. True success is living a life that pleases Him and advances His purpose. That’s where real promotion comes from.

So make a decision today—live to please the Master. Let your choices reflect Him. When your life is aligned with His will, everything else begins to come alive and move forward. Glory!

Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for giving me a life that belongs to You. I choose to live to please You in all that I do. My time, my efforts, and my resources are aligned with Your will, and my life brings glory to You, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
(2 Corinthians 5:14–15)

In India, a government pensioner has to appear before a designated office once every year to prove his or her existence in order to continue receiving the pension. Sadly, some Christians treat their walk with God in a similar way. They appear in church only once a year—on Christmas Day.

Such people are Christians in name only. Nothing about their lifestyle reflects the life Jesus came to give us (ref. John 10:10). By choosing the world, they alienate themselves from the grace of God, and in doing so, they only make their lives miserable. Refuse to live that way.

The Christian life is a life of fellowship with the Father. Being in church and worshipping the Lord is an integral part of that fellowship. No wonder the Bible instructs us in Hebrews 10:25: “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.” Therefore, don’t be a Christmas Day Christian. Be a faithful child of God who never forsakes the gathering of the saints in the house of God throughout the year.

Prayer:

Dear Father, thank You for the gift of fellowship You have given me through Jesus Christ. I value and honour every opportunity to gather in Your house and worship You. My heart is fully committed to Your will, and my life is devoted to serving You with joy and faithfulness. I walk in love, obedience, and consistency all the days of my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

Knowledge liberates only when it is used and acted upon. Without action knowledge is just an inspiration of none effect. The question comes many times that how can we walk with God? You see, God has not made himself mysterious to us , nor has he made his ways mysterious. God is good and His ways are clearly stated in the Word of God. His way is the way of faith and the same faith life style has been delivered to us that we live by. Walking in faith towards his Word is the key to walking with God.

In our faith lifestyle, there are various things which God has asked us to do and to follow. God has made things easy for you. It is so easy that all that you have to do is to just follow His ways and rest all will follow you. There are some who will just pray and only pray and they keep wondering why things are not working out for them even though they are praying so much. Things are not supposed to work out well if we just pray!! We ought to submit ourselves to the Church and then be regular in the studying of the word of God as well and be guided by our pastors and then we ought to involve ourselves in the church activities like evangelism, partnerships etc., be consistent in giving to God our offerings, thanks giving, seeds and returning to God his tithes and first fruits. Oh! God has given us such a beautiful way of life which we are supposed to live and be at peace and in happiness all the time.

Don’t be one of those who have this testimony that they once walked with God and once upon a time they used to have many testimonies in the past, but now things have become so hard and disturbing for them!

Confession:
I walk on the principles of God and grow on all sides. I’m marching on my faith walk, living each day victoriously and as I follow His preordained path for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. (Matthew 13:8-9)

Roots source the nourishment to the plant. Roots are the agent that extract minerals and nourishment from the ground. Thus it’s important that the roots of a plant are deepening at the right place having the right nourishment.

Suppose a mango seed is planted in a desert, no matter the amount of water you put into the seed it won’t grow because the roots can never extract the right nutrition from desert to provide for the mango tree to begin growth. That’s exactly what happens when Christians try to gain knowledge and growth from the world, when they try to source their productivity from the elements of this world. Their roots are not able to find correct nourishment and thus their growth gets hindered.

It’s important that you keep a check on yourself. Who are your friends? What are your conversations? How much time do you spend in fellowshipping with the Spirit? How much time do you spend in the Word? How much time do you spend on social media? Where do you invest your finances? If the answer to these questions does not lead you to God and His purpose for your life, then you need to initiate a change in your way of life.

Wherever you thrive mentally and physically that’s where your roots will extract nourishment from. If your mind and body is not stayed on God, your growth: physically and spiritually; is impossible. Make up your mind today to fill yourself with the right nourishment.

Confession:

I keep my mind stayed on Lord Jesus Christ. I stand my ground in faith and establish myself in the Word of God. I nurture my spirit with the things from above and not from the earthly things. I’m fruitful and productive for the glory of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
