I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13)

A question you must ask yourself as a child of God is this: do you finish what you start? Or are you constantly beginning new things without completing the old ones? Starting is exciting, but finishing requires determination and perseverance. As a Christian, you must always finish what you start, and you must finish strong, because through His Spirit He has enabled you for it.

Success is measured in stages. What matters is that you do your best at each level and then move forward. Don’t compare your journey. Don’t delay because of fear. Review where you are honestly and decide that there will be definite progress every day going forward.

Remember, you are sufficient—not because of your own strength, but because of Christ’s sufficiency. In Him, you are equipped for every task. The question is not whether you are capable; the question is whether you are determined and committed.

So be motivated by the joy of an excellent finish. Choose to win. Choose to succeed. Stay disciplined. Stay focused. Move forward with the confidence that Christ strengthens you and that nothing shall be impossible for you.

Prayer:
Precious Father, thank You that I am sufficient in Christ. I choose to be determined to finish strong. I reject procrastination and distraction; instead, I embrace discipline and focus. I move upward and forward in my life now and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I’ve commanded you, haven’t I? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be fearful or discouraged, because the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9 ISV)

Winners are those who choose to win. Whether or not you realize it, if you haven’t chosen to win, you have actually chosen to fail. Winners have no place for discouragement, failure or fear. They don’t give up and don’t give in; no matter what!

When God chose Joshua, He told him, “..be strong and courageous. Don’t be fearful and discouraged”. Why did God tell him so, because in the way of victory there had to be challenges. Challenges are steps to promotion. Challenges are times to demonstrate faith and win over.

A guy was in a wheelchair and could not move. So a pastor prayed for him. The guy did not immediately get up from the wheelchair. Then the pastor asked him to move any part of his body. The man moved his one finger. The pastor said, “Praise God you are healed”. He moved to pray for others. The man was still in the wheelchair. But he continued moving his finger, then 2 fingers moved, then his hand moved, then both hands, then his hands were lifted up, until he moved his toes and he eventually got up and walked. If he was discouraged by only one finger moving, he would have never walked.

Winning is a decision. If you choose to win and not give up. There is no stopping for you. Glory to God!

Confession:
I’m a winner. I win all the time, because I have chosen to win. I refuse get discouraged or fearful. I’m strong and courageous and nothing can stop me, in Jesus Name.  AMEN!

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him (Hebrews 10:38).

There are many people who begin their journey with God with zeal but don’t continue with the same zeal. When they get born again, learn the things of the Spirit, learn the lessons of faith, and act on them, they get instant results because of God’s baby-favours, and they love it. But as they grow in Christ, God expects them to grow, to learn to fight their fight of faith, to overcome challenges, and to think beyond themselves and be kingdom-minded people; that’s when some folks withdraw from God. The same God whom they loved is now no longer interesting to them. God doesn’t rejoice in such people, and hence, the devil gets an open chance in the lives of such people.

Some people always want to run away from the works committed to their hands in the Kingdom. They just want to enjoy the good things that come as a package with the Gospel, but sadly, they don’t want to stand for the Gospel. However, they forget that this Gospel is the only secret to promotion and greatness. Jesus said, “And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.” (Matthew 19:29–30).

No one who has walked with God since Bible days till today has ever been broke, sick, or cast down. The times of challenges and tribulations are tests, and you must stand as a worthy child in those times, so that He may grant you the inheritance which was meant for you. Don’t miss the mark. Do not withdraw!

Confession:

I refuse to withdraw. I stand as a worthy son of my Father. I study the Word and am guided by the Word of God alone, which reveals to me the mind of God and His plans for my life. I fulfill God’s plan in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called (1 Timothy 6:12).

The Christian life is not passive; it is a life of faith that must be consciously exercised and maintained. Scripture calls it a good fight because the victory has already been secured in Christ, yet faith must be actively engaged in, until the end. The fight is not against people or circumstances, but against thoughts, pressures, distractions, and anything that tries to move you away from God’s truth.

Faith is fought for and preserved by holding firmly to the Word of God. There will be seasons when circumstances try to contradict what God has spoken, but this is where endurance matters. The Bible teaches that we do not cast away our confidence, because it carries great reward (ref. Hebrews 10:35). You fight by refusing doubt, resisting fear, and continuing to speak and act on God’s Word.

Fighting the good fight means staying committed, consistent, and focused—especially when results are not immediately visible. It means standing your ground, knowing that what God has declared will surely come to pass. Do not grow weary, do not retreat, and do not compromise. Keep believing, keep speaking, and keep walking forward in faith.

Finish strong. Remain faithful. Lay hold on what is already yours in Christ.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I commit to fighting the good fight of faith until the end. I refuse doubt, fear, and distraction, and I hold firmly to Your Word. I declare that my confidence remains strong, my faith active, and my focus clear. I stand firm, speak truth, and walk forward without retreat. I lay hold of all that is mine in Christ and finish my race strong and faithful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
