Thanksgiving is a gateway to blessings, and as a child of God, it’s imperative for you to be thankful at every step of your life. You can’t experience greatness without having a grateful heart.

Christians who haven’t learnt the value of thanksgiving have so many blessings elude them. Rather than complaining to God about your life or situation, you’re to be thankful to Him for qualifying you to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light. When you express gratitude to the Lord for your present level, He’ll do more for you; He’ll take you higher.

When Lord Jesus had to feed five thousand men (women and children not counted) with a little boys tiffin, His preparation and planning was only of thanksgiving. Bible says in John 6:11: “And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would”. Notice what He did that resulted in the miracle: He gave thanks!

Thanksgiving is supposed to be our way of life. When you prepare and plan for your education, business, relationships; do it with a grateful heart that’s oozing with praise and thanksgiving towards the Lord. Glory to God!

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for your abundant blessings in my life. Thank you for making me your very own. I have everything I require to effectually serve you and live joyfully every day. I’m grateful. Thank you for beautifying my life with your glory, in Jesus precious Name. Amen.

Tomorrow in our ministry, we will be honoring and thanking God for the completion of a glorious first half of the year. As we celebrate this Half-Yearly Thanksgiving Service, remember the significance of this day and approach it with utmost honor. It’s one of the most important services of the year.

Though thanksgiving is not limited to just a day, when we come together to thank the Lord for specific reasons like this, it pleases Him greatly.

Don’t let this day pass by like any other—make it count. Come dressed in your best attire for church, prepare your best thanksgiving offering, and boldly come forward to testify of all the wondrous works He has done for you so far this year. Never hesitate to testify, the words of your testimony are words of thanksgiving to God. If God was not ashamed to answer your prayer and reward your faith, then don’t be ashamed or hesitant to acknowledge Him and His faithfulness.

Prepare well, because it’s Thanksgiving!

Praise:
Precious Father, You are my all in all. You have lifted me and exalted me. Your love is so pure and ever-flowing. For Your great love, my Father, I honor You in my life every day. You mean more than the world to me. I glorify Your Name!
