Light refers to solution, freedom, and clarity. Jesus said, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14–16)

This is the calling of every Christian — you are to be the light in your world.

Light eliminates darkness; it dissolves doubt and illuminates the way. You are called that light by God — it’s in you. Let that light shine through your actions, words, and ministry. You are the answer to the cry of men in your world.

Give yourself wholly to His Word; meditate therein, pray and fast regularly, and you will be able to walk in the Spirit and dispense light through you.

Prayer:

Precious Father, thank You for making me the light. I understand this divine call and shine forth, making this world a better place, my life be a reflection of Your wisdom, truth, and grace. Through my words and actions, many come to see Your glory and enter into your marvellous light, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
