The Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of God. The Lord Jesus called Him “another Comforter.” The Greek expression of the same is “allos paraklētos” which means, another one of the same kind—One exactly like the Lord Jesus in nature, character and ministry. The Holy Spirit is the presence of the Lord Jesus in your life today, revealing His will and glorifying Him.

The proper response to the Holy Spirit is simple: “Yes, Lord.” Every prompting He gives deserves a willing heart. Whether He leads you to pray, study the Word, encourage someone or take a step of faith, your first response should always be obedience.

Do not wait until everything makes sense before responding. The Holy Spirit sees what you cannot see and knows what you cannot know. As you continually say, “Yes, Lord,” you position yourself to experience His wisdom, power and divine direction.

A yielded heart is a fruitful heart. Let your life be marked by immediate obedience to the Holy Spirit.

Prayer

Dear Father, I thank You for the Holy Spirit who lives in me and reveals the will of the Lord Jesus. My heart is yielded to Him, and my daily response is, “Yes, Lord.” I gladly obey His leading and walk in His wisdom, power and perfect direction, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
