There are many people who begin their journey with God with zeal but don’t continue with the same zeal. When they get born again, learn the things of the Spirit, learn the lessons of faith, and act on them, they get instant results because of God’s baby-favours, and they love it. But as they grow in Christ, God expects them to grow, to learn to fight their fight of faith, to overcome challenges, and to think beyond themselves and be kingdom-minded people; that’s when some folks withdraw from God. The same God whom they loved is now no longer interesting to them. God doesn’t rejoice in such people, and hence, the devil gets an open chance in the lives of such people.

Some people always want to run away from the works committed to their hands in the Kingdom. They just want to enjoy the good things that come as a package with the Gospel, but sadly, they don’t want to stand for the Gospel. However, they forget that this Gospel is the only secret to promotion and greatness. Jesus said, “And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.” (Matthew 19:29–30).

No one who has walked with God since Bible days till today has ever been broke, sick, or cast down. The times of challenges and tribulations are tests, and you must stand as a worthy child in those times, so that He may grant you the inheritance which was meant for you. Don’t miss the mark. Do not withdraw!

Confession:

I refuse to withdraw. I stand as a worthy son of my Father. I study the Word and am guided by the Word of God alone, which reveals to me the mind of God and His plans for my life. I fulfill God’s plan in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

The kingdom of God is not an idea—it’s a reality. It operates by divine principles, under the authority of the King Jesus. When you live with consciousness this kingdom, you live above fear, lack, and defeat.

God’s kingdom has structure, authority, and angelic administration. In Christ you are also part of that kingdom—an ambassador of Heaven on earth. Thus, your words and actions must reflect that divine order.

Never let worldly thoughts take priority over kingdom realities. Anything that exalts itself above God’s truth must be rejected immediately. His Word, His principles, His kingdom, and His power must always reign supreme in your mind.

Stay conscious of your royal identity. You belong to a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Therefore, walk boldly as one who represents Heaven’s power wherever you go.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank You for making me part of Your glorious kingdom. I live by its principles and manifest Your authority on earth. Your kingdom reigns in me and through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

As a Christian you live in two worlds. One is the spiritual world, where you function from and the other is the physical world, where you function at. You hail from heaven above, you are just being His extended arms on earth. Therefore, the world must never become an element of love for you.

As a Christian you must never allow the world to take the center stage in your life. You must not set your affections in this world and its elements. The Bible warns us about “the spirit of the world” in 1 Corinthians 2:12: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world , but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” This spirit of the world is responsible for worldliness amongst Christians. But, we have received the Spirit of God, which guides us into all truth and enables us to live a life worthy unto God.

Refuse to be controlled or influenced by the systems of this present world. The Bible says: “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him (1 John 2:15). That should be your approach towards the world. Look at our main verse again, He has sent you into the world as His agent of Gospel. You are set on a purpose in the earth, stick to the purpose.

Confession:
I’m born of God! I live above this world. I function from the higher realm. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I influence my world with the principles of God’s glorious Kingdom to which I belong, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

John 11 tells the story of Lazarus, who fell sick and died. When Jesus heard, He said to His disciples, “…Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.” His disciples, not understanding what He meant, replied, “Lord, if he is asleep, he will get better.” Jesus had to tell them plainly, “…Lazarus is dead!” They didn’t understand Jesus’ spiritual language because they were yet carnal; so He had to speak to them in a language they could understand, that’s why He said to them, “Lazarus is dead.”

The Apostle Paul had a similar experience with the Christians at Corinth; he wasn’t able to communicate with them in spiritual language, hence he chided them for being carnal: “And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:1).

As Christians there is a manner of talk we must have. We talk spiritual. Realize that as Christians we don’t walk by our feelings, we walk by faith. If you say, “I have headaches,” it means you’ve taken possession of it; you claimed it, and you shouldn’t because it’s an outside force; so don’t accommodate it in your body. Yes, you might feel the pain, but use the Word against it and it will pass out of your body.

Hebrews 13:5-6 says “…for he (God) hath said…that we may boldly say….” You’re only supposed to say what you have, that God gave to you. Don’t accept anything that’s from the devil.

Make up your mind that you will not talk carnal any more. You will upgrade your manner of speech, you’ll stand your ground in faith and walk in divine realities of the kingdom. Refuse sickness, poverty, death, or depravity. Talk spiritual.

Confession:
I talk spiritual. I upgrade my manner of speech and align it with God’s infallible Word. I’m who and what God says I am. I refuse to be carnal, In Jesus Name. Amen
