God has given you creative abilities, and there is enormous power latent in your spirit. What you meditate on is what you create. Meditating on the Word of God is crucial. When you meditate on God’s Word, you bring it to fulfillment in your life.

To put it simply, you need to meditate in alignment with the Word of God. And when we talk about faith, faith is simply speaking what you believe. Faith is the evidence of things hoped for, and faith comes through the Word of God. It’s not just a random thought that you think and then create—it must have its roots in the Word of God. The Word of God is God’s idea, His instruction, and His desire, which you receive by studying the Scriptures through the Holy Spirit, specifically for your circumstances.

The Bible makes it clear in 1 Timothy 4:8 that physical exercise profits little, but spiritual exercise profits in all things. As you study today’s secret to success, make adjustments in how you spend your time. Prioritize spiritual activities, for there will be greater gain when you create from the spirit, rather than relying on random physical effort.

Physical activities should be an expression of what’s happening in the spirit. They do not give you an edge; rather, physical efforts are meant to support and reinforce your spiritual direction.

Prayer:

Father, I thank You for giving me Your Scriptures. As I study the Bible through the Holy Spirit, I meditate on Your Word. Your Word is building me up, and it is working in me. I thank You for empowering my spirit. I fulfill Your Word in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Apostle Paul reveals a powerful truth in this scripture—he did not allow his body to dictate the course of his life. Instead, he exercised mastery by bringing it into subjection to the spirit. This shows us that even the great Apostle recognized the struggle between the flesh and the spirit, yet he made the conscious decision to let his spirit take charge.

You are a spirit. Your body is your house, your vessel of expression here on earth. It is meant to serve you, not to rule over you. However, if you do not deliberately train your spirit to be in control, your body will attempt to dominate. That’s why spiritual disciplines—prayer, meditation on the Word, fasting, and especially praying in tongues—are so vital. They strengthen your inner man and weaken the control of the flesh.

The flesh will always pull you toward comfort, indulgence, and distractions, but your spirit pulls you toward purpose, destiny, and divine assignment. Mastery is when your spirit gains the ascendancy, and you are no longer driven by fleeting feelings but by eternal truth.

This is the secret of success—learning to build your life from your spirit, not your senses. As you grow in this, you’ll find that your decisions, habits, and actions begin to align with God’s perfect will.

Refuse to be dominated by your body. Refuse to be led by your senses. Keep your spirit active, strong, and alert by constantly engaging in prayer in tongues and meditating on God’s Word. This is how you live the higher life.

Dear Father, I thank you because my spirit is alive and full of your power. I refuse to be ruled by the flesh or by feelings. I keep my body in subjection to the Spirit and walk in mastery every day. I declare that my life is led by your Word and by the Spirit, and I live in unbroken fellowship with you, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

God made man in His own image and likeness, and He gave man the power to choose. The reason why God gave us the power to choose is so that we may choose to love Him. Loving Him should not be out of compulsion; rather, it should be our choice, and He rewards us for that.

Now, when we think about choices, we see them as a form of freedom. But it is much more than just freedom; it is power. Choice is the power of the spirit. Without choice, there is no authority, and without choice, there is no power. There was a man whom Jesus encountered; He lived among the tombs and was often chained, yet he would break the chains. The man made the choice to go to Jesus, and Jesus cast the legions out of him. These demons were powerful, yet they could not stop the man from choosing to go to Jesus. (Ref.Mark 5:1-13)

As we continue to learn through the secret of success each day, God is teaching you and training you in one of the most important things: how to use the power of choice. What we are today, what we have today, and where we are in terms of our level of maturity, all of this is a result of how much we have used this power of choice.

Contemplate on this fact today: it’s not that you are just free to choose whatever you want or whatever gives you pleasure. Rather, you have been given the power to choose so that you may exercise this authority to choose what is right. Choose to walk in God’s perfect way. Choose to take responsibility. Choose to do what is right. The spirit of perfection is in you.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You that You love me and have made me in Your own image and likeness. In Christ, I am Your child. Thank You for teaching me the power of choice that You have given me. I will choose the right things, and I will train myself in this power. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
