God has given us the gift of prophecy. While some aspects of it operate through prophets, every believer is empowered to speak forth God’s Word and declare His promises over their lives. That should tell you that God has given you the ability and power to use your words to shape your future. Yours is to speak into your life in agreement with God’s Word.

To prophesy is to speak words that have divine potency—words that have life—so don’t despise prophecy.

Prophecy is like a guiding light. It was through prophecy that the people knew about the coming of Jesus. There were so many prophecies that the Saviour—the Messiah—would come. The only proof that God had for the people to recognize and say, “This is the Messiah,” was His Word spoken by the prophets about Christ—the Messiah.

God desires that you prophesy, because by prophesying you set the course of your life. 1 Corinthians 14:1 declares: “Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.”

Do you realise that through the gift of prophecy, you can continually walk in victory and triumph?
Yes! Prophecy empowers you to steer the direction of your life and govern circumstances within your world or ‘aion’.

Speak words of prophecy over the peace and prosperity of your nation and the nations of the world. Prophesy concerning your health, success, abundance, and daily victories. Declare prophetic words over your body, your bones, your skin, your blood, your finances, your career, your business, your studies—every area of your life! Don’t wait; begin to prophesy now!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of prophecy. I prophesy into my life and set the course of my life according to Your perfect will. I invoke the supernatural power of God in my life and my aion through prophecy. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

In our main verse, Apostle Paul is praying for the saints in Ephesus. He prayed that way because, the people hadn’t come to the full knowledge of the divine might at work in them by reason of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

This might of God is not a superstition, rather it is based on the word of God. When a person makes up any baseless idea depending on things they see or hear, that’s a superstition. However, when you act on His Word and exercise your faith, you unleash the power of your recreated spirit into your world. Let’s see what Jesus said: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8).

Don’t be surprised when you realize that He is not saying that, “I will do it”, rather, he’s asking you to do it. This may not happen on the very first day. But, it all begins today when you choose to take control of your life. Do you know you can prophesy and speak peace, over your country or family? Do you know you can intercede for someone and have him/her saved? Do you know you can proclaim the word of God and deal with your issues? Before setting a huge target, win small battles. And that’s how you begin today.

Learn self-control and that time is not far when not only will you take control of your situation, but also of your loved ones. That time is not far when people around, you will come to you because they will recognize, that when you pray, there is a change in their lives. Discipline yourself and ensure that you will study God’s word every day. Congratulations, your future is bright!

Prayer
Thank you, Father, that I am made alive in my inner man with your might. I live each day with divine consciousness. I refuse to live an ordinary life. From today, I will take control of my situation. I will prophesy and reroute my future to glory, in the Name of Jesus. Amen

In 2 Timothy 2:15, Paul, while talking to Timothy asked him to study the scriptures diligently and further on He told him that doing this will equip him and he will never come accross a situation where he would be required to get ashamed. Jesus Himself told us in Matthew 13:11, that it has been given to us to know the mysterious secrets of the Kingdom of God. The King and His kingdom is no longer a mystery to us anymore.

God revealed Himself in and through Jesus, we have His word that we may have knowledge about the Kingdom, moreover He filled us with His Spirit which guides us in all truth.

You are the King’s kid and this is your priviledged inheritance to know the Kingdom mysteries, ways and matters. You may now ask how to access these things, it’s very simple, God has put all that in His Word. The Bible is not just the truth or just historical records. Though the Bible consists of recorded conversations, Spirit filled communications, but these pieces of letters are the powerpoints of impartation.

I challenge you to try to study His Word through His Spirit today. When a non-believer reads the bible, he/she will read only what is written where as when you, a child of God, will study the same through the Spirit, you’ll find yourself getting plugged with enourmous source of spiritual wisdom, power and His holy unction. Even when its just a verse, read it again and again until the Holy Spirit begins to teach you and uncover the deep secrets of the Kingdom to you. The bible will no longer remain just a Holy book to you, rather you’ll have fellowship with it as a person. It’s such a joy that our Heavenly father is the King, we are King’s children and the Kingdom is our inheritance.

Prayer
Glorious Father I thank you in Jesus’s name that you have lovingly given me to know the secrets of the Kingdom. I thank you for the treasure which you have kept for me as my inhertance. I diligently give myself to the study of the scriptures. I thank you for filling me with the Holy Spirit who speaks to me and guides me in all the truth. Amen!
