As Christians we have all been called to be dispensers of God’s love and grace, through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s not optional. So your approach towards it should be that of extreme urgency and passion.

The return of our master is nearing, and this time here on earth is all we have to complete this divine assignment of taking the Gospel to the ends of this earth (ref. Matthew 24:14). There are so many out there in your vicinity who may have never heard about Jesus, therefore necessity is laid upon you to preach the Gospel. Apostle Paul explained this so well to the Roman Church through His instructive message in Romans 10:13-14; “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” You are the preacher your world is waiting for!

To receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and be born again, is the best thing that could happen to anyone. This is the greatest news on earth, and thus it must be spread to all! The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for sustainable progress and development for any nation or people, thus it must be preached without any shame or hesitation by you.

The realization that Jesus, the Son of God, died for the salvation of the world and yet some still haven’t heard about Him should motivate you to preach and tell everyone you meet about Jesus. Take motivation from Apostle Paul, he boldly declared: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” (Romans 1:16 NIV)

Dear Father, I thank you for choosing me as a dispenser of your love, through the preaching of the Gospel. I make my life count in the Kingdom of God by reaching out to the lost. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Christianity is not a religion, it’s the life of God in a human person. It’s God living His life in and through you. No matter how good a person you are, if you are not living out the life of God which is in you through Jesus Christ, you will never be able to make any impact in the kingdom of God or in this world.

Some Christians live a substandard life because they have limited themselves through their thoughts and ideas. They think it’s no point preaching the Gospel because no one would ever hear them. That makes their presence in the kingdom irrelevant. If your being in the kingdom has not added any souls to the kingdom, then you are irrelevant.

As we close this month, you must ponder upon the fact of how relevant have you been in the kingdom? If you are just a church going good Christian, and that’s all that is there about your faith in Lord Jesus, then that’s not good enough. You need to win souls, you need to participate in every activity of the Church, and you must let your partnership be seen in every program and initiative of your church. Remember, Jesus is coming very soon. We don’t have time to waste, and on that day when you stand in front of Him, no excuses will work. It’s your relevance in the kingdom which will determine your placement in heaven.

Prayer:

Dear Father, I thank you for giving me wisdom to become more and more relevant in the kingdom. I will be a master soul winner and I will show forth the praises of Him who called me to glory and virtue through my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

God sent His only Son to earth and made Him a soul winner. Before Jesus died on the cross to fulfill His calling, He sought souls and did the work of reconciliation. The bibles says in 2 Corinthians 5:19: “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”

While on earth, there may be many wonderful and noble professions you may be a part of. However, we need to recognize that our existence here is just a temporary phase when compared to our eternal life in Christ. While we may be occupied with many noble works, great jobs, and wonderful businesses, we must remember that soul-winning is the only thing that will count after we have completed our time on earth.

Soul winning means reaching out to the people in your world, within your sphere of contact, and sharing God’s plan, His love, and His saving power through the gospel of Jesus Christ. You lead them to Christ, reconcile them to God, and secure their eternal future. This is exactly what the people of the Old Testament desired to do, as we see in our main verse, Psalm 67:2. During that time, Jesus had not yet come, and they did not have a message that could save people. They were only in a covenant with God, following the laws. But, the grace of God has been lavished upon our generation. We can proclaim the gospel, lead people to Christ, make them acquainted with the love of God, and see their souls saved. Soul winning means rescuing souls from the grip of the devil and bringing them into the eternal light of God.

All you need to do is be prayerful and follow the guidance of the Spirit. Take advantage of every opportunity that God brings to you. You don’t need to wait to see your miracle; you can get started right where you are. Even if it is the first day you’ve been born again, you can still share the testimony of how good and great you felt after receiving the Holy Spirit into your life. There is something truly exciting about doing this. You may never experience the happiness and joy of leading someone to Christ unless you take action. How wonderful it will be when you go to heaven and hear many tell you that, because you spoke up and because of your efforts, they are now saved.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for giving me the privilege of winning souls to the kingdom of light. I pray and receive more grace and boldness to proclaim the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of Your love, and of Your grace. I thank You that You have chosen me for the best job—the job that is appreciated even after my life on earth. I give myself to your Spirit to be used as a soul winner, functioning in the boldness and wisdom of the Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
