But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. (1 John 2:20)
One of the most glorious things that happens to us after being born again in Christ Jesus is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God doesn’t just guide us in the right direction—He also gives us the strength to choose what is right.
Throughout the New Testament, we see how the Holy Spirit transformed ordinary men into bold witnesses. Peter, who once feared, stood boldly before the crowds. Paul, in the face of Roman persecution, testified courageously. Their boldness was not natural—it was the strength that came from the Holy Spirit.
As you meditate on the realities of the kingdom of God, fix your thoughts on this truth: the Holy Spirit within you empowers you to choose what is right. This is especially crucial when you know what to do but feel weak to act on it.
Whenever you sense hesitation or weakness, open your mouth and boldly declare, “In the name of Jesus, I choose what is right.” You will experience supernatural strength rising within you, enabling you to make the right decisions with confidence and joy.
It is not your own strength at work—it is the power of the Holy Spirit. He strengthens your will, sharpens your decisions, and leads you in righteousness.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank You that You have given me strength in the inner man through the Holy Spirit, and as I respond to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, I choose what is right. Thank You for helping me discover the power of God that is working in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
