But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
One of the common strategies of the devil is to attack your faith by reminding you of your past mistakes. He tries to convince you that your faith will not work because of things you have done before. But the Word reveals a completely different truth. God demonstrated His love toward us even when we were sinners, which means His commitment to us was never based on our past actions.
Now that you are born again, you are born of God, and God is your Father. Your identity has changed, and your relationship with Him is established in Christ. God’s approach toward your life is not condemnation but growth, strength, and victory. Scripture shows that if God is for us, no opposition can ultimately prevail against us (Romans 8:31).
The devil is a liar and a defeated enemy. His goal is to weaken your confidence, but he has no authority over a believer who stands in truth. What matters now is that you exercise the dominion God has given you through the Name of Jesus. Refuse to entertain accusations and refuse to live under guilt. Stand firm in your identity and enforce the victory Christ has already secured.

Dear Heavenly Father, I declare that You are with me and for me. I refuse every accusation and lie of the devil concerning my past. I proclaim that I am born of You and established in Christ. I stand confidently in the authority of the name of Jesus and exercise the dominion You have given me. I declare that every plan of the enemy against my life is defeated, and I walk in strength, growth, and victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
