Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)

The beauty of Easter is not just that a King came—it is that this King gave Himself for you. The Lord Jesus was not forced into His assignment. He willingly embraced it. He knew what was ahead, yet He chose to go through it because of His love for us.

Even in the moments leading to His sacrifice, we see His authority. Nothing happened outside His permission. He remained in control, fully aware, and completely surrendered to His purpose. This shows us that His sacrifice was not weakness—it was power expressed through love.

Think about that—the King of glory chose to give His life so that you could have life. His victory came through His sacrifice, and that victory has now been given to you. You are not trying to win—you are living from His finished victory.

So as you reflect on this, let it build your confidence. You are loved deeply. You are secured completely. And the life you live today is backed by the sacrifice and victory of your King.

Prayer:
Precious Father, I thank You for the love demonstrated through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus. I walk in the victory He has given me. I am secure in His love, and my life reflects His power and purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
