And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6 NIV)

Happy Resurrection Day to all of you! This day is so special—Lord Jesus defeated death, and He became the firstborn from the dead (Revelation 1:5). Our life in Christ Jesus does not start from the birth of Jesus Christ, nor does it begin with His death on the cross. Christianity begins with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. When He rose, we were raised up together with Him. Easter is not just about celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, but also the victory that mankind received over death, the slavery of darkness, and every circumstance. Furthermore, it is the celebration of the God-life made available to mankind, so that we are no longer mere men, but the God-kind.

Easter is the fulfillment of God’s love toward man. On this day, the message the Spirit of God has for us is from 2 Corinthians 5:14–15: “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again.” Lord Jesus loved us so much that He freely died on our behalf, so that as we live, we should no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who loves us and gave Himself for us. As you visit your friends and relatives with sweets and gifts today, the better way is to also bring them to the true knowledge, essence, and message of the resurrection.

Praise:

Glorious Father, I praise You for the Easter of my life. I thank You that You have raised me together with Christ, and today I am seated together with Him. I have meaning and purpose in my life. The life which I now live on earth is for You and unto Your glory! Glory to Your Name, O Most High!
