For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:17)

The history of mankind can be described by different reigns. There was a time when Adam was given dominion, but through sin, the reign of death entered the world. Fear, sickness, defeat, and destruction became common experiences. But through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, a new reign began—the reign of grace, righteousness, and victory.

As believers, we are not called to live as victims of circumstances. We belong to the Kingdom of God, and our King reigns forever. This means that no challenge, obstacle, or opposition has the final say over our lives. The authority of Jesus is greater than every situation we may face. His victory has become our victory.

When you understand that you live under the reign of Jesus, your perspective changes. You stop being driven by fear and begin walking in confidence. You stop seeing yourself as powerless and begin recognizing the authority God has entrusted to you. The Christian life is not a struggle for victory; it is a life lived from the position of victory that Christ has already secured.

Today, choose to live with the consciousness that Lord Jesus reigns. Let His Word govern your thoughts, His Spirit guide your decisions, and His authority shape your expectations. The reign of death is over; the reign of Lord Jesus is active in your life. Walk boldly in that reality.

Prayer:
Precious Father, I thank You that through the Lord Jesus Christ I reign in life. I refuse to live under fear, defeat, or limitation. Your grace, power, and righteousness are at work in me. I walk in victory and dominion as a citizen of Your Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
