And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. (John 14:16)
Every child of God is called into a living fellowship with the Holy Spirit. He was not sent merely to help you in difficult moments, but to walk with you daily and reveal God’s purpose through your life. The quality of your fellowship with Him determines how much you experience His guidance and ministry.
What is your prayer life like? Do you only speak to the Holy Spirit, or have you learned to listen as well? The Holy Spirit desires your attention and your fellowship. As you spend time with Him in prayer and meditation on the Word, your relationship grows stronger, and you become more sensitive to His leading.
The more you cultivate this fellowship, the more you will witness His wisdom, direction and power at work in your life. He prepares your path, orders your steps and leads you into God’s perfect will. Develop a daily relationship with the Holy Spirit, and you will continually experience the reality of His presence and guidance.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. I cultivate a deeper fellowship with Him every day. My heart is attentive to His voice, and I gladly follow His leading. My life is directed by His wisdom, and I walk in Your perfect will continually, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
