And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live… (Ezekiel 47:9)

The Holy Spirit desires more than an occasional experience with you; He desires a continual flow in your life. In Ezekiel’s vision, the waters first reached the ankles, then the knees, then the waist, until they became waters to swim in. This illustrates the progressive work of the Holy Spirit. The deeper you yield to Him, the greater His influence becomes in your life.

The same principle applies today. When you begin praying in other tongues, you may not immediately sense a strong flow. Do not stop. Continue praying, continue yielding and continue fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit. As you persevere, your spirit becomes more responsive, and you enter into a deeper flow of His presence and power.

The Holy Spirit is not looking for perfect people but yielded hearts. As you continually give yourself to Him, He fills you with divine strength, fresh revelation and spiritual vitality. Refuse to remain in shallow waters. Go deeper every day, and let the Holy Spirit lead you into a richer fellowship with Him.

Prayer

Dear Father, I thank You for the Holy Spirit who continually draws me deeper into fellowship with You. I yield myself completely to His leading and grow daily in the flow of His presence and power. My spirit is strengthened, my faith increases, and I continually walk in Your perfect will, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
