And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. (Exodus 14:21)

When the children of Israel stood before the Red Sea, they faced an obstacle that human strength could not overcome. Behind them was Pharaoh’s army, and before them was an impossible barrier. Yet God gave Moses an instruction, and as Moses acted in obedience, the Lord made a way through the sea. What appeared to be the end of their journey became the pathway to their deliverance.

The Red Sea reminds us that God is not limited by the circumstances that limit us. He can create a way where there is no visible path, open doors that seem permanently shut, and bring His people through situations that appear impossible. The presence of an obstacle does not mean that God has abandoned His purpose for your life. All that’s required is your faith and faith means “ saying Yes” without a doubt.

Faith is never passive. Moses had to stretch out his hand in response to God’s instruction. There was an action connected to the miracle. When the Word of God gives you direction, respond with confidence rather than surrendering to fear.

Do not allow the size of your challenge to become greater in your mind than the power of your God. The Lord who divided the sea is still able to lead you forward. Trust Him, follow His instructions, and keep moving toward what He has called you to do.

Prayer:

Glorious Father, I thank You because no obstacle is greater than Your power. I receive the grace to trust Your instructions and act in faith, knowing that You are forever faithful to accomplish Your purpose in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
