For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17, KJV)
The Christian life is fundamentally a life of faith. We received salvation by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, and we continue our walk with God by faith. Faith is not something we exercise only when we need a miracle or when we face a difficult situation. It is the foundation of our daily relationship with God and the way we respond to His Word.
The Word of God makes it clear that faith is essential to pleasing Him. Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith it is impossible to please God. This means our confidence must rest in who God is and what He has spoken, rather than being controlled entirely by what our natural senses tell us. As we grow spiritually, our faith should become evident in our decisions, conduct, prayers, and expectations.
Living by faith requires more than agreeing with Scripture intellectually. It means allowing the Word of God to influence how we think, speak, and act. When circumstances appear contrary to what God has said, we must learn to remain anchored in His truth and respond according to it.
Make faith your daily way of life. Let it guide your prayers, strengthen your obedience, and shape your expectations. As you continually grow in the Word, your confidence in God will deepen, and your life will increasingly reflect the principles of His Kingdom.
Prayer:
Glorious Father, I thank You for the gift of salvation and the privilege of living by faith. Thank You for Your Word, which establishes my confidence in You and guides my daily walk. My life is rooted in Your truth and I continually grow in faith, understanding, and obedience, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
