Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. (John 12:24)
One of the greatest principles in God’s Kingdom is the principle of yielding. The Lord Jesus taught that a seed must first be planted before it can produce a harvest. In the same way, a believer who lives only for personal interests will never experience the fullness of God’s purpose.
Many people desire greater impact, greater influence, and greater fruitfulness, but they are unwilling to let go of smaller ambitions. Fruitfulness always requires sacrifice, which is an important aspect of yielding. It requires laying aside self-centered goals in order to embrace God’s greater plan. What seems like loss in the natural often becomes the pathway to increase in the Kingdom.
As ambassadors of Christ, we are called to live for something greater than ourselves. We represent the interests of Heaven on earth. This means our decisions, priorities, and pursuits should reflect God’s purposes. When we align ourselves with His vision, our lives begin to produce lasting fruit that blesses others and glorifies Him.
Do not be afraid to yield yourself to God and surrender your plans to Him. Whatever is committed to Him will never be wasted. The seed that is planted may disappear from sight for a season, but in time it produces a harvest far greater than anyone imagined.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I yield myself wholly to you. I trust You with my life. Im determined to live for Your purposes and not merely for myself. Therefore, my life fruitful and impactful for Your Kingdom. I declare that everything I do brings glory to Your Name, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
