Extent of your vision is the boundary of your blessing!
And the LORD said unto Abram, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: (Genesis 13:14) What you continually see influences what you prepare yourself to pursue. A person who has no vision may remain satisfied with very little simply because nothing greater […]
Your Obstacles don’t have the Final Word
And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. (Matthew 14:22) Our main verse shows a direction Lord Jesus gave to the disciples. Lord Jesus sent His disciples ahead, and while they were on the sea, the wind […]
Live Beyond the senses
For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) The Christian life is a life of faith. This does not mean that we deny reality or pretend that difficulties do not exist. It means that we refuse to allow what we see, hear, feel, or experience in the natural realm to become greater […]
Strengthen Yourself in the Lord
But David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. (1 Samuel 30:6) There are moments in life when circumstances seem overwhelming. David experienced such a time at Ziklag. His city had been destroyed, his family taken captive, and even those closest to him turned against him. Yet David did not remain discouraged. The Bible declares […]
The Holy Spirit Refreshes You
I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also… (1 Corinthians 14:15) One of the wonderful ministries of the Holy Spirit in your life is to refresh, strengthen and energize your life. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13) One of the greatest hindrances to spiritual growth is the habit of making excuses. Some blame their family, their workplace, their circumstances or even their government for not doing what the Holy Spirit has prompted them to do. Yet, the Holy Spirit has […]
A Life of Daily Obedience
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. (John 10:27) One of the greatest habits you can develop as a child of God is responding quickly to the voice of the Holy Spirit. He does not merely give information; He gives direction that leads to life, victory and fruitfulness. Therefore, […]
Say Yes to the Lord
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. (John 14:16) The Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of God. The Lord Jesus called Him “another Comforter.” The Greek expression of the same is “allos paraklētos” which means, another one of the same […]
The Holy Spirit Turns Things Around
Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it… Psalm 127:1) The Holy Spirit can turn every situation around and lift you into another realm of glory. It is not merely hard work or human effort that produces lasting success. As the Scripture declares, unless the Lord builds the house, every […]
The Peace Beyond Understanding
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6–7) Have you ever noticed what happens after you pray? Before prayer, your heart […]
