That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.(Colossians 1:10)

God has never called us to live only for ourselves. His desire is that every believer lives a fruitful life—a life that brings blessing, encouragement, and hope to others. Spiritual maturity is not measured merely by what we receive from God but by what flows through us to bless the people around us.

Sometimes we become so occupied with our own goals that we forget to ask an important question: “Lord, how can my life glorify You today?” As we grow in the knowledge of God, our priorities begin to change. We no longer pursue success only for personal satisfaction; we desire to become useful in God’s Kingdom and profitable for His purpose.

A fruitful believer is generous, compassionate, faithful, and available for God’s use. Such a person understands that every gift, opportunity, and blessing has been entrusted to them so they may become a blessing to others. This is the life that truly pleases the Lord.

Today, choose to live beyond yourself. Remember that God has made your life fruitful in every good work through Christ Jesus. As you remain faithful to Him, He will continually increase your influence and use you to touch many lives for His glory.

Prayer:

Gracious Father, thank You for choosing me to bear fruit that remains. Thank You for every gift, opportunity, and blessing You have entrusted to me. I rejoice that my life is fruitful in every good work and that I bring glory to You through all that I do. Thank You for increasing me so that I may continually bless others. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
