Your Obstacles don’t have the Final Word
And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. (Matthew 14:22) Our main verse shows a direction Lord Jesus gave to the disciples. Lord Jesus sent His disciples ahead, and while they were on the sea, the wind […]
Lord Jesus Did Not Have to Divide the Water
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. (Matthew 14:25) Moses divided the Red Sea. Joshua witnessed the Jordan being stopped. Elijah and Elisha struck the waters, and the river parted before them. But when our Lord Jesus encountered the sea, He did something extraordinary: He walked […]
The Life of Christ Is at Work in You
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21) The Christian life is not a life we are expected to live by our own strength. Christ Himself is our life. His divine life is at work in our spirit, soul, and body, and His presence in us makes us more […]
The Peace Beyond Understanding
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6–7) Have you ever noticed what happens after you pray? Before prayer, your heart […]
The Holy Spirit Dispels Fear
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) Fear is a spirit, and it stands in direct opposition to faith. Fear magnifies the power of darkness, while faith exalts the truth and power of God. As a child of […]
Live in the Consciousness of the Holy Spirit
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth… and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13) Now that you are in Christ, the Spirit of God lives and dwells in you. Therefore, it is vital to cultivate a deep consciousness of His presence in your […]
Chosen for a Fruitful Life
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain…— John 15:16 (KJV) Now that you are in Christ, recognize that there is a definite calling and purpose for your life. You are not on earth by accident. […]
Love Him More
We love him, because he first loved us. (1 John 4:19 KJV) One of the clearest characteristics of the sons of God is their love for the Father. Our relationship with Him is not built on fear or obligation but on His amazing love for us. He loved us first, gave His Son for us, […]
Win the Battle Within
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other. (Galatians 5:17 KJV) One of the greatest battles a believer faces is not against the world but within. The desires of the flesh constantly oppose the leading of the Spirit. If we allow […]
Seated with Christ in Authority
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6) Many believers live far below the position God has given them because they see themselves only from an earthly perspective. But God’s Word reveals a different reality. Through Christ, we have been raised up and seated […]
